Yesterday was all about the blackbirds.

The female gathering nesting materials in the morning reminded me what the point in life is.
The male who told me to have faith in the animals and trust in nature during my walk in the afternoon.
Then this curious chap who had been watching me sculpting on and off all day asked me what I was doing. I explained I was shaping bits of earth with my hands – shaping them into nice things – like birds.
He asked me about the worms in the earth and I reassured him there were none in the bits I had.
I then explained how the earth is then heated up like a volcano until it turns to stone.
He was quiet a while, then asked why?
I explained that we like creating beautiful things that bring others joy, that it’s our lasting legacy in a world obsessed with short term satisfaction.
