Baby Brabbin gets his freedom

On the 5th September I nearly fell over a little hedgehog in my garden. He was so small and it was mid afternoon and I knew he must be poorly. So I popped him in a box filled with straw and called Watermeadows Hedgehog Rescue straight away.

Weighing in at only 184g he had lungworm, roundworm and an upset tummy. Watermeadows gave him the best possible care and I’m so pleased to tell you that last night, weighing 676g he was given his freedom back.

Having been placed in one of the wooden hedgehog houses he was soon off making up for lost time, shuffling through the leaves and finding lots to eat and explore.

Thank you Watermeadows!
