Day 11 of the 30 Day Challenge

Let’s go fly a kite! A red one. A LOT of them.

About an hours drive away from where the accomodation for the week was, is Gigrin – the official feeding site for red kites.

Sat in a field in rolling hills the kites were everywhere – you could hear them in the distance, overhead and all around, but seeing the hundreds that descended during feeding time was an awe-inspiring sight.

It turns out that this was to be only day one of a week of avian encounters.
