Make friends with molluscs – RHS & Wildlife Trusts team up!
Showing our little mollusc friends (slugs and snails, no puppy dogs’ tails) is the aim of the campaign from the RHS and Wildlife Trusts collaboration.
As part of their “Wild About Gardens,” they’re encouraging people to use their gardens to take action to help support nature.
I’m so happy they’re raising awareness and love for the little critters. I know they have a bad rep with gardeners, but it seems that there’s about 150 different species in the UK and only a handful of them are munching what people don’t want them to.
As a society we need to do everything we can do co-exist with our fellow creatures. We’re all part of the same eco-system.
