The rat peeks out from the hedgerows to see what we might have left for them – our rubbish is their treasure.

They too, are part of the eco-system and a valuable member of our British Wildlife.

I for one love watching their little noses popping up to check it’s safe, their superfine whiskers bristling away, and boy these guys are acrobats!
