Raffle in aid of The Peoples’ Trust For Endangered Species

People’s Trust for Endangered Species is boosting the UK’s dormouse population by releasing dormice back into the wild.

This year, they released dormice to their new woodland homes in in Derbyshire and Cambridgeshire. The dormice settled into their new homes, under the watchful eye of volunteers, who are providing extra food and water. Dormouse boxes were placed throughout both woodlands, giving the dormice safe places to nest, allowing the team to check how the dormice were doing. The dormice successfully bred and had litters of new dormice.

I’ve created this dormouse sculpture specifically to raise funds for the 2024 dormouse reintroduction project.

Size – Approx 17cm tall

Material – Stoneware ceramic and glaze

Whilst suitable for outdoors or indoors, all ceramics are best kept indoors in freezing temperatures.
