The studio fledglings!

Every year I’m treated to fledgling in the garden surrounding my studio.

This year was extra special as a pair of Great Tits decided that the bird box behind the studio was a safe home to bring up a family! So I got to watch them coming and going, and finally a little head peeping out! I missed the actual fledging but did later see them out and about pestering their parents for food.

Also newly fledged were the Robins, Wrens, Starlings, Blackbirds, Rooks, Jackdaws, Kestrels, House Sparrows, Pigeons, Dunnocks…I’ve been truly blessed by birdy babies again this year!
