When Santa got Squee’d
The RSPB Old Moor Christmas Fair came around so quickly and I’d spent hours in the workshop getting ready.
I was of course there early and was treated to a Robin solo. The sun was in and out producing a wonderful 4 rainbows, before finally admitting defeat to the wind and thrashing rain. The cookie tent made a couple of breaks for freedom but thanks to Bev for lending me the British Cycling one I didn’t have to worry so much.
Before the weather turned, Santa Claus made his trip to see what was occuring, and I gave him my present. It doesn’t seem right that he’s the one who’s always giving, so giving him a little present made his eyes twinkle and we all felt the squee.
A massive thank you to everyone who came by to say hello, and an extra special thank you to the people who took their new little friends home with them. They were named before they even got there, which I adore.
