Day 18 of the 30 Day Challenge

Today sees a return to August, I don’t know where this year is going, it feels like time is speeding up!

I needed some time to recharge and ground myself after the previous week, so I took myself off for a walk to meet a friend for lunch in a local cafe.

On walking home I stopped for a chat with two ladies who live on the same street as me. We talked about animals and flowers, garden visitors, how the seasons are faring, about childhood pets and companions lost to time and their huge impact on us as people.

If there’s one thing that can bring humans together, it’s the mutual love of animals.

I was exhausted so I’m afraid to say the only thing I created today was a photo of some beautiful foxgloves.
