Hello! Here’s where you’ll find answers to the most common questions. Can’t find what you’re looking for? Just drop me a message – I’m always happy to help! [email protected]

Q: Are these sculptures suitable for children?

A: While I’m chuffed that my creatures look playful, they’re not toys and aren’t designed for children. They’re art pieces meant for display and gentle handling by adults. Think of them more as wildlife companions for your desk or shelf!

Q: Are they edible?

A: (Yes, people really ask this! 😄) Even though they might look temptingly smooth and sweet, these aren’t edible and aren’t food-safe. They’re made from clay and glazes that are definitely not for munching on – stick to biscuits instead!

Q: What’s with the cracks in my bigger sculpture?

A: Ah, those little character lines! Here’s the thing about working with clay – it’s a bit like working with nature itself. During the firing process (when things get REALLY hot!), the clay and glazes can develop small cracks or quirky imperfections. These aren’t flaws – they’re part of your piece’s story! Think of them like wrinkles or freckles – they show your sculpture’s unique journey from squidgy clay to finished piece.

Q: How should I care for my sculptures?

A: These little souls are pretty low-maintenance (unlike real wildlife – no feeding required!). A gentle dust with a soft cloth now and then keeps them happy. While they’re robust enough for normal handling, just remember they’re ceramic – so maybe don’t juggle with them.

Q: What about sizing and weights?

A: I measure and weigh each piece as best I can, but there might be some variations because they’re all handmade. If exact dimensions are super important to you, just ask and I’ll measure your specific piece before sending.
