A reminder to reconnect

These past few weeks have been crazy and it’s about to get even busier. Last week I had a last minute opportunity to have a stand at a show in Oxford later in June. Panicking and frantically repainting my plinths in the garden worrying about all the things I had to do, I heard what could be mistaken for a tiny helicopter whizz past my ear. Looking down I saw a beautiful green shield bug. It reminded me of this time last year when I encountered one and we sat together for ten minutes. I realised I’d been so caught up in work and doing that I’d forgotten to be. So I put down my paint brush and picked up the little bug and just spent some quiet time together in the sunshine.
